Lowest rostered percent is Jauan Jennings. Having 3 defenses is a lot, so I assume probably drop a defense, but which? Browns have been disappointing and so have the Jets. Jets might be the best option to drop?

I’m going to pick up Colby Parkinson for just 1 week while Goedert is on a bye. Can’t help but feel that the 5-12 points he’s going to contribute won’t even be worth the trouble.

I would pick someone up, you don’t want to lose by 3 points and regret leaving your roster as is. The TE position doesn’t contribute much though, so it is tough.

I would drop whichever defense has the worst schedule for the next 3-4 weeks.

Jets play @Vikings and home against the Bills in the next 2 weeks. They’re definitely must-bench for those two weeks. But then it’s @Steelers and @Patriots which both look like favorable match ups. Although 3/4 being road games probably makes my decision for me. I might be lucky enough to drop them for Colby Parkinson and then pick them up again next week.

If your league has waivers, and you’ve got a backup option for your TE pickup, you could definitely drop them later in the week to have waivers give you another chance at picking them up next week. That’s my plan for finding a bye week replacement this week.

I don’t keep a backup TE or QB. My logic is they’re easy to replace. Normally I’d just drop my TE like I’d drop my QB. In my league where I drafted Kyle Pitts I’m dropping him, but Goedert has been great this year among otherwise weak TE play so I’m afraid to lose him.

But the longer I look at my problem, I just need to figure out which of the 3 defenses is the worst. Probably Jets. If someone disagrees let me know.

Yeah. I usually keep 2 defenses.

There are maybe 20 startable QBs in a week, 5-10 startable TE’s, and potentially 15 startable defenses. Tight Ends are top heavy (seems to have to do with which QB’s like to throw to TE’s more than anything). the defenses are match up dependent and heavily fueled by home advantage. So it makes sense to start a different defense almost every week. Where QB’s tend to perform about as well as the offense as a whole. There is usually at least a pretty good QB option available on the waivers whenever. Even moreso than defenses.

Sorry if I missed your waiver deadline. I would drop Browns DST personally. Otherwise you are going to be looking at having to drop Goddert and hoping that Juwan Johnson or Or Noah Gray can pull off a miracle if you find yourself down 10 on Monday night. My guess is you would be able to get the Browns back as a free agent without having to burn waiver priority next week as they play the Eagles
