Make the replay operator VAR!

It’s crazy how the assistant VAR and Replay Operator both told the VAR to delay the game because the wrong decision had been made and the VAR ignored them both.

It’s just a complete mess. That “Fuck” at the end summarizes it completely. Miscommunication and rushing too much.

I also thing they have rules after a decision has been made and they restart, you can’t go back to change it. Such a mess…

Such a colossal fuck-up. And after reading/listening to the transcript it is hilarious how easy all of this could have been avoided. Just have a standard response that must be given by the VAR: [ Call ] is [confirmed/overturned], result is [goal given/denied, or red card given/rescinded]. The audio is honestly hilarious how unclearly they were speaking.
