the entire basis of this video is a strawman argument: it suggests the West pushes a narrative that there was an attempt to overthrow socialism in these protests and this video spends 25 minutes expressing the fact the protests were in fact NOT trying to overthrow the government.
the problem is the west doesn’t say that, it is solely the treatment of protestors protesting a reasonable issue EXACTLY LIKE THE VIDEO SAYS.
You see, the Chinese people protested for a bit and then the government sent in fucking TANKS to run people over. That is the whole basis of Tank Man, he stood in front of the tanks the morning after the army slaughtered people.
So over a simple reasonable protest the government terrorized it’s people for over 48 hours. Members of the BBC witnessed it and leaked this to Western press.
