Radio Liberty geolocated a video published Monday morning by Russian sources, in which Ukrainian military equipment allegedly passes through the village of Giryi in the Belovsky district of the Kursk region. It was filmed in Giryi in the area of a cell phone tower (the exact coordinates of the location). The Ukrainian armored vehicle itself is moving north, in the direction of the village of Belitsa. In the video, it passes the Giryi bus stop ( coordinates ).
Earlier, the head of the Belovsky district called on local residents to evacuate due to the advance of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and the acting governor of the Kursk region, Alexey Smirnov, confirmed that Ukrainian troops entered the Belovsky district on Monday night.
Nice. So the area is now 20km by 40km?
That’s a nice pace. Keep chewing up that territory boys!
Yeah, they’re doing incredible work. BBC saying they’re now creating their own prepared lines of defence so it looks like they’re there to stay for the long haul.
Nice! Keep it up, boys!
So the area is now 20km by 40km?
Sounds like in that neighborhood; a little more than that, at least as of this statement that @LaFinlandia@sopuli.xyz just submitted:

Currently, about 1,000 km² of Russian territory is under the control of the Armed Forces. - Commander-in-Chief of the AFU
Russia: all hat no cattle
Liveuamap has actually started changing for the first time in a long time, it’s a decent amount of territory they’ve taken.
This has got to be humiliating for Russia.
