Television@piefed.social•‘She-Hulk’ Star Tatiana Maslany Says Any MCU Crossover Would Need Jessica Gao To Preserve The Character’s ToneEnglish
11·3 days agoI honestly was hoping that She-Hulk would turn into superpower Law and Order, and show off some of the previous MCU villains going to court. It would be an interesting different kind of story for MCU as well as give some extra finality to the villain stories.

1·5 days agoI posted a review of a rechargeable mountable lamp that didn’t work, wouldn’t charge. Popped it open because it was broke and I walked to figure out why.
Turns out the electronics caught fire and burnt out. The review was never authorized and never showed up in the site.
I hate Amazon so much, I cannot convince my wife to drop it.

Europe@feddit.org•Norwegian fish farms polluting fjords with waste likened to ‘raw sewage of millions of people’English
2·5 days agoSounds like a partially-solid (lol) plan chance to set up some aquaculture farms and use some of that poop for plants.
I had a friend that was pretty repressed with a highly religious family. When he got to college he’d have multiple nights a week blackout drunk, and has had more sexual partners than the rest of our entire friend group combined (like 20+)
Now he is married, had kids, including a daughter who is about puberty age (I have one too) and they apparently haven’t had a single conversation with her about menstruation, or growing into a woman at all; at least according to my daughter’s discussions with her.

4·9 days agoI used to order a “catering” size of chili from my local Big Boy. It was a quart of chili, granted it took me three meals to eat it, but yeah catering doesn’t mean much.

23·14 days agoIt always amazes me how good our instinct of just “something is terribly wrong”. I’ve avoided cars on the highway that would have hit me off not for “that person’s driving is suspect” and moved out of the way
My only real question, is how is the cheese with the dogs? I usually go cheddar, I feel processed would be a bit tangy for dogs.
This is like someone in their 30s doing a YouTube about “having McDonald’s for the first time in my life”
On a scale of 0 to 100.

6·17 days agoI love that everyone comments about how the USA has too much sugar, but nearly every time I’ve watched a Japanese recipe they add just silly amounts of sugar to things.
Hell I watched someone add sugar to a scrambled egg.

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•How do I drink more water?English
2·18 days agoMy daughter eats spicy food when she decides to drink more water.
My friends and I do make this generalization a bit, but mostly at older men, boomer age. We all know a number of men who will proudly claim they never changed a diaper.
My mother in law and grandmother in law were in amazement at the level of participation I had with my kids. They commented on it a number of times (jokingly telling my wife to lock me down with sex) when they’d see me do almost anything for my own kids.
I don’t know any new fathers though

46·23 days agoI get that Biden was pretty damn passive as a president, but holy moly was it just a relief for a while there to be able to completely forget the president even existed and wasn’t actively destroying the world’s view on the USA.
Like those 4 years were like sitting down for the first time.

I’m a slow reader, arguably a bit dyslexic even. 15 minutes of reading is maybe 3 to 4 pages.
I find myself accidently skipping lines, then having to go back and re read what I already read, then realize I skipped that line too and the page all over again.
Even if not dyslexia, that font designed for dyslexic readers actually helps me a lot.
