I’ve defintely stopped reading the comic universes because it gets too much. You can’t just grab a new issue and read it anymore. Doesn’t matter whether marvel or DC. Every comic is connect to 20 other comics and you need to read Deadpool, Dr Strange and 10 others in order to have the back story of one Spiderman issue. When I read comics it’s the independent artists that can finish a story within one or two volumes. Same goes for SciFi and Fantasy novels. Too many SciFi novels out there that are this epic 20 volume complex world building saga. Just give me a story that is finished in one book.
Also knitting. Good yarn has become so expensive.

Before my first birthday after we met I had told my now husband that I wanted to switch to reusable pads. I showed him a brand I had in mind, but they cost 20€ per pad. That birthday I got a 200€ gift card for the pads so I could buy myself a starter pack. I don’t know what I loved more, the fact that he was so thoughtful or how he proved that he wasn’t one of those guys who get weird when the topic of periods comes up.
Hate is maybe a bit strong, but I’ve genuinely never seen a Broccoli haircut that I thought looked good.
I hate having long hair, so I keep it short.
Also subcultures that are more about making your own styles. Not that there wasn’t any consumerism, but there were definitely more people who drew on their backpacks, made paperclips into a necklace or glued flowers to hair clips. Silly stuff like that. It’s become much rarer to see a teenager that looks like they’re expressing their personality with their style.

I stopped using Google reviews because it’s absolutely pointless with the deleted reviews. So far I’ve had almost all of my bad reviews removed, even though I always write an honest description of why the food or service was bad. There are some really bad restaurants in my city that regularly go down to 1,x before they remove all bad reviews and it jumps to 4,x again for a while.
The problem is that public ratings will just never be useful. Either you have owners that delete all the bad reviews, or you don’t let them delete and good businesses can be review bombed for petty reasons.

On my 5th birthday my parents threw a party for me with friends from kindergarten. My father had a pretty good camera for the time and loved taking photos. This was during analog times, way before digital cameras, so you wouldn’t just take a bunch of photos because it got expensive. He wanted to take a group photo and I, always being a little annoyed back then with the constant photos, stuck out my tongue. He tried to make me smile but I refused. So he told me he’d take the photo of me sticking out my tongue and I’d regret it when I’m an adult that I don’t have a nice photo of me on my 5th birthday. I’m 40 and I don’t regret it. Love that photo.
I’m a CIS-woman. I just stumbled upon this post and tried the app for fun. I got 71% female and 29% male. I can also get the app to show 92% male be simply talking in a deep voice that I guarantee sounds nothing like a man but like a woman lowering her voice. Not saying that the app is useless, just take the results with a grain of salt.

I started Escitalopram 4 weeks ago. Not motivated for anything yet and my brain still feels like it’s filled with cotton, but I can at least sleep again and don’t panic about every small thing anymore.

Ich dachte, Straßen zu blockieren und die hart arbeitende Bevölkerung auf ihrem Weg ins Büro zu behindern ist eine inakzeptable Form des Protestes?

Thanks, I didn’t know they had a name other than “colorblindness test” :D

I guess it’s pretty easy for him. It seems like he has a very mild form and can’t tell certain shades apart. I think it was something like yellow and grass green or red and orange. So he hasn’t had any noticable problems.

There are several different types of color blindness, so it depends. In case of reds greens blindness I think they see both as grey.

That sheet is very handy, thank you.
