Nah fuck that. There aren’t alternatives they can reasonably turn to. The only thing hurting our economy is allowing companies to steal from the Australian people without paying for our resources.

Courts can’t overturn it if Parliament enacts a law specifically saying they can do it. There’s certainly nothing in the constitution that would prevent this.

This might be a rare case where I actually don’t mind that.

This actually sounds fantastic. If the worst thing about the game is the risk that it might be concentrating too much on competitive play at the expense of casual and single-player, that could be a problem for the game’s longevity, but it is still so much worse than some other problems with the game could have been.

I do think it’s less common on the bigger buses. You can’t do it on the Metro for example, I’m pretty sure (only been on it a couple of times, but IIRC the driver is in a fully separated cabin).

Punter Konrad isn’t the influencer referenced in the title. Konrad is commenting on a clip made by someone else. And I’m not 100% sure, but I don’t think that person was a YouTuber. Instagram or TikTok is their stomping ground, I think.

I definitely would use YouTuber if it were someone primarily from YouTube.

It was simply the most accurate term I could think of. They’re not a proper journalist, even if in this context they seem to be doing some pretty damn good (if not especially difficult) journalism.

A better argument is that this is how the government gets a sense for what the population is. For example, a growing percentage of “non-religious” or (to a lesser extent) non-Christian religious makes it harder for the government to continue justifying subsidies for religious schools and special status for religious organisations. A higher percentage of people saying they travel to work by bike or public transport helps justify increasing funding for those methods over continued motornormativity.
