I found out there was an Old Man’s War book 7, so I devoured that book. Kinda thought the series would end on book 6 since it was titled “The End of All Things” but book 7 was a happy surprise.

Then since I was reading John Scalzi I looked up some of his other books and settled on The Dispatcher series. I loved the premise to the series right away and enjoyed the mystery. The premise is

I’ve read every Michael Crichton book and I’m very surprised that The Great Train Robbery was your favourite. It’s one of the only books I’ve only read once. (Hrm, I think I should put Prey on my list of books to read. Haven’t read that one twice)

I don’t remember much from the book, the scene that stick out the most was the contortionist. I’ll have to give it another read and keep an eye on the history.

They’re looking through the house and they find a storage room. The fact that there’s a possibly dead body in there doesn’t seem to concern the person showing the house.

There are paragraphs just not the indentation at the start of a new paragraph.

I recently watched a video that talked about the history of that indentation. Before movable type, paragraphs were just denoted by the pillcrow (¶). But with movable type, some room was left on a page for the pillcrow to be hand drawn. Eventually though the speed of printing got faster than the speed someone could hand draw the pillcrow, so just a blank space was left, showing an indented start of a paragraph.

I don’t even bother with rinse aid. I don’t like the residue that it was leaving on dishes. Curious to hear how your test goes.
