I think they feared for me since I just got my first apartment to myself and i have a history She and my step dad ended up helping me with all the upfront costs. I took him home Friday and it’s been hectic cuz he’s a baby but I think it’s helped give me something to hang on to.

Agreed. I think we can know for sure by observing how the Demonrats and talking heads react to this and what they’ll fixate on. If we get the re-heated “Trump’s licherally friends with autocratic dictators” (the stalest of microwaved nachos; we’ve seen this deployed for similar purposes for 10 fucking years now) then that basically proves it.

Right, Preston Jacobs is the author of those fics. He has some good theories but I can’t really get excited over these decisions lol so maybe I shouldn’t read this (who am i kidding, in like 5 months i’ll be so hungry for ASOIAF/TWoW post-HotD S3 that I probably will).
Oh well, back to my Lucifer Means Lightbringer videos (I’m a GEOTD truther and genuinely think if we get TWoW we’ll see some visions via Dany that confirms it, given how her visions in ACoK basically already does)

I believe there IS at least one fan project to write TWoW lol, haven’t read it yet. The thing is that (according to GRRM) TWoW will be when we finally learn what the deal is with The Others and learn more about Valyria than we ever have before. So that alone isn’t an easy task. The way the show did this was extremely underwhelming and by-the-numbers.
If it were my version I’d definitely make it so that the Targs sold out Valyria to the Faceless Men because they grew to abhor slavery and wanted to be big fish in a little pond in Westeros. I think it’s basically canon already.

As a fan of the books, the answer is to make peace with Winds of Winter never coming out and enjoy ASOIAF for what it is 🫠

I didn’t find it all that ambiguous lol, not compared to Inland Empire

I finally watched Mulholland Drive a year ago and it instantly became an all-time favourite.
Blue Velvet is also a fine entry point IMO, it’s not that ambiguous at all.
Inland Empire is scary but you definitely need to go into it accepting that there are no tidy answers and explanations.
