Surprising nobody, Reddit Corp threatening a gaming sub of a fanatically anti-corporate video game doesn’t go as they’d hoped.

The mod team have basically decided that “Fuck Reddit” is the way forward, and appear to have practically total support of their entire sub for the choice taken.

Presumably, we’re about to get a Cyberpunk community on Fediverse soon. :p

    I’m pleasantly impressed with what I’m seeing in the migration; Reddit is going to hemorrhage once a critical mass gets over here, and comments become more interesting here than there.

    There are a number of concerns as this grows - moderation, server loading, and helping people find same or equivalent communities immediately comes to mind - but as long as the migration gets the better minds of what was once Reddit, the collapse will happen.
