    It’s not about who to prioritise. I don’t think there would have been much fuzz about them investing in the end, but when they actually did, it was already apparent that Kimi was never going to challenge Lando, but was much better equipped to defend against Lewis. Hence, the swap threatened to turn a reasonably safe 2/3 into a 2/4 from the team’s perspective.
