If your entire economy depended on Ukraine not being invaded why didn’t you let them into NATO or the EU? Or keep a military presence capable of doing something?

Or is this one of those you don’t feel any responsibility to do anything for yourself so you’re just whining at the US for not poofing your problems away kind of things?
