    Counter argument: Anyone who willingly associates with the Republican party in 2023 evokes the “If you see a table with ten nazis and willingly join them, you have a table of eleven nazis” saying. Anyone who’s willingly identifying as a Republican in 2023 is some combination of stupid and evil.

      To think that half of my peers are below average is a terrifying thought. It surprises me how low the average must actually be for there to be such a wide apparent support for some policies.

      On the other hand, the only way to make a burning shithole better is for the good people to stay.

        Maybe. I don’t think there’s any saving the Republican party. It’s been rotten since at least the southern strategy. Forming a new party would be the way to go.
