    I am not to my knowledge on the autism spectrum.

    I think there’s a big difference between what someone’s thinking and feeling. Like, I can tell if someone looks like they’re deep in thought from their face but there’s no way without more context to know what they’re thinking about. If they’re looking at a restaurant menu it’s probably what to order, but they could also be thinking about anything.
