Israelis protested on Saturday night, calling for a ceasefire and the resignation of hardline Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Tens of thousands took to the streets in Tel Aviv to demand that the government reach a deal with Hamas to secure the release of Israeli hostages in Gaza.
They also called for new elections, accusing Netanyahu of prolonging the conflict to keep himself in power.
You should look into why they’re surrounded by hostile nations. Here’s some hints: Look into things Hannah Arendt said about starting a settler colonialist colony in the Middle East that required kicking out the locals into neighboring countries who will then hate them and how that is a bad idea. Einstein even said the same warning, about how Israel will just become militarized, and will start conflating miliarization and Jewishness and nationalism together, as a requirement of keeping this settler colony together (because it requires active occupation and death to maintain, meaning it will always have enemies, until they complete the genocide, I suppose).
Sounds complicated. Sounds like something that deserves nuance and consideration when discussing.
