Oh interesting. Seems to be based on DnD from the looks of it, but I wonder how it compares to the Eorzea RPG fan-made Pathfinder setting. Which seems to be offline now, hrm. Probably got a C&D ahead of this official release, damn.
I’ve got friends who bounced off FF14 because they can’t/won’t pay the sub, so this could be a way for them to experience the world and the story. I’m curious what kind of system it will be using though. They’re only giving d20s and (lots of) d6s in the starter set, so I doubt it’s based on DnD…
