On a more practical note, as a multiple-suicide-attempt survivor, I can assure anyone here that surviving a suicide attempt fucking sucks. No method is 100%, no matter how hard you try, and you come away with physical and mental scars. If skipping a suicide attempt is at all an option, you absolutely should skip it.
if people decide they don’t want to sit around to see how bad it gets, I think that should be up to them. I know this is what I’m considering.
