I have heard of both pathFinal Fantasy and Final Fantasy D20 beforehand. I expect both to lose some popularity as the first official Final Fantasy TTRPG system gets released. Final Fantasy D20 has fallen out of favor for me due to more interesting character options in pathFinal Fantasy and controversies related to FFD20, after discovering the latter on GameFAQs.

    I had heard of FF D20 but never got a chance to try it out, and I had never heard of pathFinal Fantasy before now. There is also some very advanced homebrew that ports FFXIV into DND 5e on GM Binder.
