In the bible the Canaanites were there first. Not sure what she’s talking about.
And this is just one of the many things wrong in the Bible. Hebrew is a Canaanite dialect, mutually intelligible with the others. The Greeks didn’t distinguish Hebrew from Phoenician. The Bible though insists that the two people are distinct and that the ancient Hebrews must genocide the Canaanites.
