      1. The west, and by proxy the Ukraine, is the good guys
      2. The good guys always wins in the end, just like in Disney movies
      3. It follows that the west and the Ukraine will win
      4. To win you need to kill the Asiatic hordes.
      5. It takes a certain amount of military stuff to kill all of the Asiatic hordes
      6. It follows that the sooner you get and use said stuff, the sooner the war will be over

        That is actually a great way of putting it, thanks! I had never consciously understood before how for Ukraine and their backers, victory seems like an inevitability.
