Not a lot to say:
- “We’re sorry” (again)
- 650 people working on TFS and Destiny.
- They want TFS to be the same caliber as WQ, Forsaken, and TTK.
- PVP strike team will be checking in next week for the TWID. (Think this was in a tweet)
- No confirmation of any delays.
Idk if there’s anything they can say right now to make the situation better.
I just don’t understand how, after layoffs, you can have almost 700 people working on a game, and still be unable to engineer basic systems, and replayable events, that aren’t standing in circles in different locations
This, and how they got away with sunsetting so much content that was paid for. Any other game would’ve died if they vaulted old dlc. (And still haven’t delisted forsaken despite 90% of it being gutted.)
Unfortunately, this just kinda looks like another “we promise we’re gonna do something (but not really)”
I agree but also if TFS doesn’t do well then I think it might literally kill the studio or lead to more significant layoffs so there’s more incentive to deliver.
We know they can deliver. Just a matter of if they will and if they’ll fuck up again (probably will).
I mean, probably not. I’ve been on the fence about how much I wanna play the game for several months now, and this might just be what pushes me over that edge. I just can’t support this in good conscience. They ignored all the feedback about how much their changes were gonna turn off the players and they paid the price by coming in under half what they expected.
Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
What changes are you referring to?
