I got diagnosed after my kiddo did, and it’s hard not to be angry at all of the missed opportunities and losses that it has caused me, because I simply wasn’t equipped to understand or work around the executive function deficits

Yep. I got diagnosed after my kiddo did, and it’s hard not to be angry at all of the missed opportunities and losses that it has caused me, because I simply wasn’t equipped to understand or work around the executive function deficits
