I’ve tried out NADDPOD, TAZ and am currently listening to one in the Stars Without Number universe called Astronomica which is pretty funny.
Wondering what else is good out there
I’d recommend the Glass Cannon Podcast: https://www.glasscannonnetwork.com/shows/the-glass-cannon-podcast
It’s a Pathfinder actual play podcasts that’s on the crunchier side with some fun comedy moments.
They also have a lot of RPG content on their YouTube (check out their Traveller podcast “Voyagers of the Jump”: https://m.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLz3Be--ot61P_-ge1l71k7ps4y8U12H4A )
Find the Path Podcast is the best I’ve found, full stop. There are still laughs, but they aren’t the cheap one liners so nauseatingly prevalent in so many other actual play podcasts I’ve tried. Instead the focus is on the story, characters, and world around them.
Truly a unique and wonderful experience.
It’s Pathfinder 1e and 2e. Production value is very high generally. Audiophile quality these days, though even in the first few episodes the audio is done well.
I highly recommend NPC D&D from the same guys from Viva la Dirt League.
They do a lot of sketch comedy based around games on their main channel, especially about mmos with their “Epic NPC man” series, and they used the same universe from their skits as the setting for their D&D games, which has been awesome.
They’re super fun to watch and their DM is amazing as well. They even do little skits dressed as their characters in every episode, about any interesting moments from their table session!
I also like how they release episodes in weekly, bite sized, edited 30min videos, which i find much easier to consume than your average 3+ hours unedited dnd podcast.
It is truly a gem and i’ve no idea how they’re not more popular.
I really enjoy Dungeon Master of None. It’s not an actual play, but rather GM advice, reviews, and adventure design. It’s fun, funny, & engaging.
