Thinking about how only white or rich people have the privilege of being doomers and resigning the faith of the world, because ultimately that allows them to easily give up trying to create a more equitable world, with the comfort of knowing they’ll ultimately be fine in the end as their privilege carries them through while the rest of the world burns, they no longer have to expend energy for the benefit of the undesirables. Yes I feel down about the state of the world but I have no choice but to fight to make it better for myself and others like me, I don’t get to just kick my feet up and hide away from the monstrosities
