The backer they mention is a guy who wouldn’t concede his election loss, and by momentum they mean 1,200 of the needed roughly 156k signatures. Which is damn near the entire population of the eastern counties who would theoretically back this. I doubt even they do though, because once you actually see how great vote by mail is, you typically aren’t trying to go back (even on the right). Says they have hit every state fair hard and have a total of 25k (unverified as yet) signatures, so I doubt this goes beyond what you hear right now.

Kinda drives me nuts how things that are clearly fringe get reported on as ‘gaining traction’, and they’ll ignore meaningful protest etc. Even opb has been guilty of this for a while.

Maybe he means momentum straight into the bin. This won’t be on the ballot, and even if it somehow makes it, it will still fail. What a waste of time.

Momentum deez nuts. Guy running this campaign is just mad he lost his elections for being a Nazi piece of shit.

Ironically, getting rid of mail in voting will likely decrease voter participation in many of the rural, deep red areas of the state where transportation is nonexistent, and probably hurt overall Republican turnout.

I get really tired of these people constantly pushing FUD then screaming, “Look at all this FUD, clearly the best thing is to put ME in control.”
