This is the point of a .10 release, to discover these bugs and get them fixed before the LTS release.

So a .10 release is a beta release?

It’s less stable than the LTS at least, and right now 25.10 is still in beta. It’s scheduled to release on October 9th.

Will this affect derivative distros like Mint?

      https://www.linuxmint.com/about.php

The team has boosted its development by focusing on 3 desktop editions (Cinnamon, MATE and Xfce) and by taking the decisions in 2014 to only use long-term support releases.

Sounds like they are taking the conservative approach, so should be more stable.

Shit, just linux.

Use this community for anything related to linux for now, if it gets too huge maybe there will be some sort of meme/gaming/shitpost spinoff. Currently though… go nuts
