So that must mean they use pre-existing ammonia (produced via natural gas) to transport the CO2 underground. But that can be done in a closed loop, so shipping it to Japan seems like an entirely separate process, that uses a bunch of energy in both ammonia production and shipping, so that Japan can add more NOx gases to the atmosphere.
