Is that a cross between a polar and a grizzly?
A grolar bear?
Or a pozzly.
It looks like it to me, based on past photos.
Any idea which bear this is? I know some parks keep track of their bear populations, like Katmai National Park with Fat Bear Week. This one does resemble 2023’s winner 128-Grazer
The photo is by nature photographer Pier van den Bemd, from his Instagram. He says it’s in Norway, and that he’s “by far the heaviest polar bear” he’d ever seen.
