    I like how they’re charging more for making their products worse. I have to use Windows for work, and the laptop runs like dogshit. Nearly everything is laggy, Teams is a dumpster fire, etc.

      I recently came across a windows 7 machine that someone wanted updated. First thing I did was clone it to an SSD.

      Wow I forgot how fast windows 7 boots with one. That was even still on the old hardware.

      In the end it was only one piece of software that you could get online, so we went with the fresh install.

      They have more money than they know what to do with as they are a corrupt state enabled oligopoly.

      This is likely an accounting/financial reporting fraud related initiative. To be able to claim that AI revenues grew XX and so on.
