I’m failing to connect the punchline here really. Charlie Kirk was shot, so I get that. He was white, so I guess I get that bit. But… mulled wine? A white mulled wine? Is there a pun I’m not getting? And with a shot? I must be missing something really obvious but at the moment I feel as though this joke has two almost-punchlines but just sort of doesn’t quite get there.
Mald whine
What’s mald?
When someone is so mad they start losing their hair, a contraction of mad and balding.
I just want to say that I’m proud of Charlie Kirk. It’s been over 90 days since he’s made any sort of hateful or racist remark.
And Amy Winehouse is sober for over a decade!
Rush Limbaugh is catching up to her!
No need to make her the butt of the joke, she was not a bad person. A talented artist who lost the fight to addiction.
They tried to make her go to rehab. She said no…
White whine with a shot.
Not too soon, just lame joke
I think the context is that there actually is a drink called Lumumba and it’s cacao with a shot. Patrice Lumumba was a Congolese politician and independence leader who was shot in 1961. If that’s ok, I want a drink named after Kirk.
That’s a sufficient enough explanation that this doesnt bother me anymore. Someone pour me a kirk
I would much rather remember Patrice Lamumba, than a loser like kirk. But there is a drink called an Irish Car Bomb, so there’s no accounting for taste.
From Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patrice_Lumumba#Political_ideology “Lumumba did not espouse a comprehensive political or economic platform.[201] According to Patricia Goff, Lumumba was the first Congolese to articulate a narrative of the Congo that contradicted traditional Belgian views of colonisation, and he highlighted the suffering of the indigenous population under European rule. Goff writes that Lumumba was alone among his contemporaries in encompassing all Congolese people in his narrative (the others confined their discussions to their respective ethnicities or regions),[202] and he offered a basis for national identity that was predicated upon having survived colonial victimisation, as well as the people’s innate dignity, humanity, strength, and unity.[203] Lumumba’s ideal of humanism included the values of egalitarianism, social justice, liberty, and the recognition of fundamental rights. He viewed the state as a positive advocate for the public welfare and its intervention in Congolese society necessary to ensure equality, justice, and social harmony.[204]”
AFAIK it’s been considered poor taste to order an Irish car bomb for a couple decades. I’ve heard it called an Irish slammer, though I’m sure there’s other names for it
It’s better in German
Fair. White ________ with a shot all works, I just don’t see the connection between smolface deadboy and mulled wine
The bright red crimson that flowed from his being.
It specified it was white mulled wine
