On 22 December, the United States Embassy in India announced the delivery of the final batch of Boeing AH-64E Apache attack helicopters ordered so far by India.

In total, India has ordered 28 AH-64E Apache helicopters, of which 22 were delivered to the Indian Air Force by 2020. It cannot be ruled out that further purchases will follow for the army, as it is difficult to envisage a full squadron operating only six helicopters of this type.
