The liberal arrogance to talk so much and so authoritatively on a subject they know less than nothing about always amazes me.

They have no idea how 1989 was reported at the time or how it has been taught since.

Beyond that they have even less of an idea of what actually happened. They don’t even know what the protests were really about. Or the violence of both sides.

All they know is the caricature presented to them that they eat up unquestionably about this noble democratic cause that never really happened.

I feel nothing exemplifies this better than the so called “tank man” an image from a video paraded around as an example of one of these brave democratic soldiers killed.

Except when you look into it even slightly you realise this person was trying to stop the tanks leaving the area and more importantly he was completely unharmed even climbing on the tank to talk to the operator before passers by usher him off. But why would a liberal ever let the fact get in the way of some good old fashioned propoganda.
