At CES Las Vegas 2026, one of the world's most significant technology exhibitions, renowned gaming controller manufacturer GameSir unveiled its brand-new foray into sim racing, codenamed 'Swift Drive'.
In theory it’d be nice for someone like me who does not have the space for a wheel & pedals setup - I built my PC to be able to be put away very easily because I don’t have a desk I can dedicate to it - but I’m not convinced that this would actually be an improvement over a regular gamepad
I also usually use the right joystick for throttle and brakes because I have never found the triggers comfortable for that, so I guess there’s an extremely me-specific problem too
