Shoutouts to my fiancée for the topic suggestion 💜
Don’t have anything on my plate currently in terms of soulslikes. Been thinking about going back to DS3 maybe?
I don’t think there’s too many NPCs that I really like. Alexander from Elden Ring seems like a chill dude to be around. Or the prawn guy - if his cooking of prawns weren’t clashing with my vegan beliefs.
Gilbert from Bristol is also really cool. Very tragic and unfortunate fate, but he’s pretty much one of the few characters in the game that welcome you in Yharnam and help you find your bearings.
Hanbei the Undying or Emma from Sekiro also seem cool. Very different characters but I appreciate both nonetheless.
What about you?

Playing?
My RL1 Elden Ring playthrough. Only the two gods remain. For Radabeast I have to git gud with my Star Fist and for Consort I have a very precise but fast strategy that should work again. I have taken out every other Remenbrance already. Melania took longer this time even though I played better imo, but in the end Ice Spear triumphed, as i knew it would.
NPCs IRL?
None of the Hunters from Bloodborne. They are all pretty fanatical (even you Eileen, sry). Most of the Dark Souls NPCs are either evil or to far gone (hollow) or I would just not vibe with them, like the Catarina Knights. In Elden Ring? I liked most of Ranni’s troupe (except Seluvis you deserved worse), but from an outside perspective their are pretty fanatical and I don’t know if I really want a world order with “fear, doubt, and loneliness…”. I like Roderika and Hewg, but damn they are probably very depressing to hang out with.
Okay, who would I hang with:
I know, he is literally a highway robber, but he is a chill dude and he just wants to life his life. I could sit with him by his fire and eat some of his self cought crabs and have a taciturn conversation.
Come on she’s is a talking cat with an attitude. I got to meet her! She has some of the best lines in all of DS2 and she is (maybe?) omnisciente and not evil!
About Ranni, I suggest this:

Elden Ring has some serious translation issues, and Ranni’s Ending turns out to be one of the victims.
Oh, that was quite an insightful read! Thank you!
The Order is kept at a distance! That was quite a mistranslation. An the journey is a personal one presumably with the consort. I interpreted the entire age for the entire existence as a journey in to fear, dark etc.
I listened to the dialog of the ending and the one by the grace in the tower many a time. This makes much more sense.
Maybe I should look more into mistranslation in Elden Ring (prior to this I only did so for Anastasia; Ogress just sounded to weird). I’m far more well versed on Bloodborne‘s translation.
Star fists are my favourite weapon for Radagon, the flow of the fight is so good and he just crumbles. Very satisfying. You got it!
Boggart is probably the most sane person in the lands between, def. would drink a pint with him.
