Those of you who are angry at the US for allowing ICE to stifle people's liberties (including me) - how do you channel your anger and irritation?

Yeah, because the electoral college and all the gerrymandering and voter suppression mean nothing. We should just pull ourselves up by our voter bootstraps, overcome all odds and the might of the entire federal and state government and die fighting radical fascists who have been carefully rigging the system from since before I was even born…

Funny how its gotten so bad, yet the people in the us cant be arsed to take the midterms seriously. Do nothing, accomplish nothing. Its not that hard.

No country on Earth is like this. No polity is unified without opposition. Additionally, making this statement here, when it is obviously false, in a place where at least half the people are from the US, and likely all of those are left leaning and just as much victims if not more so, seems like rather tepid malevolence.

Its called democracy. And tyranny of the majority. It is the failure of democracy we have known this for thousands of since since when fucking Plato wrote about it. That being said under the social contract we have all accepted that we will accept the actions of the majority because we live in a democracy.

I don’t care that some people will take offence at what I’m saying. Free speech baby. Please tell me what is wrong about my original statement?
