This is part of an ongoing investigation about a known child sex trafficking organization involving the worlds most powerful people. Why would they not be obligated to investigate everyone involved or mentioned? What fucking slack is there to give to anyone who had a possibility of having a part in it? If they’re not hiding anything then they’ll have nothing to worry about, but considering the context everything involved with these files deserves proper scrutiny.
Why would they not be obligated to investigate everyone involved or mentioned?
They should investigate everyone they have probable cause to investigate. That’s actually what most of these files are, records of investigations. That’s not what “guilty until proven innocent” means. Presumption of innocence is a cornerstone of everything our justice system does right and I’m not willing to sacrifice it for a hate boner.

Approximately 2/10ths of a bill of rights worth of slack.
And I say if these rights don’t matter for everybody they don’t matter for anybody and fuck any authoritarian dickeeed who wants to water them down, whether it’s trump or you.
That’s just the thing, though, they don’t apply to everyone. That’s specifically how we got here. These rights don’t apply to us, only those in power. Until they matter to everyone then they shouldn’t matter to those in contact with a literal pedophile business empire.
I don’t think the solution is to cut slack for people who were involved with, again, the premium subscriber global child sex rape trafficking business, especially when that’s what we’ve been doing that dragged us into this mess. There are much better places to start than people mentioned in reports in an ongoing investigation that we 100% know, without a doubt, is about children getting raped and sold.
Why are people always so eager to throw away the 4th and 5th amendments whenever they’re inconvenient

I’m not a constitutionalist, I say check those who have lied with the dogs for fleas.

I don’t think the solution is to consent to more and more exceptions. We should be demanding an end to the thing you’re advocating in favor of.
