Just think of piefed as another flavor of lemmy with a couple of extra features. The interface just looks a tiny bit different, but we post all the time on each others communities. To the end user, its all about the same.

For power users, the ability to schedule posts, admin tools, and interop with other fedi services are a game changer. And events just started to become a thing too. Self hosting is really easy.

It really doesnt matter where/how people end up (lemmy/piefed/etc…etc…) as long as they have a good time and stay.
