    The only acceptable level of torture is ZERO.

    I don’t want my government funding any state that tortures people. It’d also be nice if my government didn’t torture any people at all, ever.

      What the hell is this steaming pile of whataboutism and why is it getting upvoted? Why are you bringing up pronouns?

      Which of problem do you think the average person has a better chance of fixing from behind a keyboard, anyway? There is no fuckin hypocrisy in calling out someone for being a jerk on social media but not stopping a literal genocide in another country.

      You’re complaining in the internet about people complaining on the internet. What are YOU doing to correct the Palestine situation? What "minor"issues are YOU completely ignoring because someone else has it worse? Did you stop arguing with people at work? Did you stop getting mad at people while driving/commuting? Have you stopped voting for better local ordinances because there’s a genocide half a world away? Have you stopped enjoying your daily life and dedicated it to getting new world leaders?

      Is letting people misgender me going to do anything other than normalize transphobia? What do you want me to do, respond to misgendering with a spiel about Palestine? This isn’t a hypothetical, I’m trans. Tell me how you think is the correct way for me to respond to someone misgendering me and how it affects Palestine.

      Did you even know that a record breaking amount of anti-LGBT legislation was proposed in the US in 2023?
