Had to get an all new furnace and heat pump installed. I opted for the Honewell thermostat. I don’t want this thing on my wifi. I don’t need to have it connected right?

That must be it. I’ll need an external temp sensor then, as per the manual for this model. Nbd. Still annoying how 40 years ago they had it figured out better than now! Tech goes backwards, ha
