I made a post with the title something like:

“AI bubble will pop” is the new “This year is the Linux year”. Changing my mind.

My intention was to start a discussion about people saying AI bubble will pop but it never happens.

It was meant to be provoking to motivate people to try to argue.

The thing is the post completely disappeared from my profile, I can’t even see it anymore? Is it normal?

I don’t think this is reason enough to permanently ban me. I didn’t even get a warning, mute or something.

I agree, it feels a massive echo chamber, that’s why I didn’t ditched Reddit already.

I’m against AI in many scenarios, but I like to hear other opinions to make sure I’m right.

I’ve learned a lot by hearing contrary opinions to mine.

Yeah, I mean if you want to hear a contrary opinion, seek out the local LLM crowd.

Sam Altman and his pyramid scheme can go to hell, but I like local LLMs. As tools. They’re kinda what Lemmy is to Reddit.

At worse, make your own “Fuck AI” community, or find some adjacent community in another instance. The fediverse’s potential for redundancy is a godsent for when a community is problematic for whatever reason. No need to worry about enduring a given community because its name was already taken and is being run to the ground. =)

But if you must follow the community where you are banned, I second the suggestion of contacting the moderation team.
