I think he’s talking about cases where he is sharing the link. Get link -> drop in Firefox -> get real link -> share that
Ah, I see. I figured this was from a share link button. Amazon usually likes to put its main tracking state in its URLs as you browse, so if I share an Amazon link I always strip it to it’s bare product path portion.
Yeah, there is an extra you might need to take which is to remove all the other tracking BS out of the full URL they provide after the short URL. I have an extension in FF that cleans those URLs for me though.
