Just sharing because parasites do have specific life cycles, and people used to think that you could get infected with HIV by kissing and hugging.

If both kissers are frenching and have bleeding mouth wounds, HIV might be transmitted. But people used to also think you could get it from toilet seats or even just shaking hands (a practice I’m not fond of for other reasons).
