I have no idea what to expect. I only played Nier: Automata, but admittedly it was pretty dang good. The only misgivings I might have stem from how Tsurumaki handled GQuuuuuuX, but to be fair G-Quacks wasn’t written by Yoko motherfucking Taro so, y’know.
yoko taro isn’t really a draw for me but ok I guess, since I liked Thrice Upon a Time and it seems like it’s gonna be taking place in that universe from the trailer but
I’ll also take a completely new setting/cast too, since that has been mentioned time and time again by Anno that he thinks Shinji’s story is done (and rightfully so, with 3.0+1.0)
I dunno why everyone in this thread is mad given Anno himself has said before he wants Eva to be like Gundam. You better get ready for Neon Genesis Evangelion: The Thaumaturgy of Saturn’s Pilot (it’s gonna be lit too)
