In light of the recent Discord scandal(s), I’m curious if any TTRPG communities currently using Discord are planning to leave it in favor of Matrix, as it seems to be one of the most popular choices for a Discord replacement. Would be great to see some vibrant roleplaying communities on Matrix!
I can’t recommend Stoat due to its toxic community. They absolutely hate those of a certain philosophical belief system, which is actually because of German law (of which my producer supposedly violated, and wanted to know what it was).

Stoat just kinda sucks ass. Its been in the same state since the last time I used it sans the name change. I’ve been looking at XMPP but I don’t really like any of the UIs.
Nerimity, which I rarely use, is another good option people seem to be missing. My producer is active on there anyway.
