You can find good food anywhere with a large enough population center. Finding it outside those areas is rare enough to call out some areas. Cajun and creole cuisine in Louisiana, TX BBQ, California tacos, crab from the Chesapeake Bay, oysters in the Florida panhandle, nlobster rolls in Maine, and both Italian and Indian food in New Jersey.

Listen… I somewhat believe that (or want to), but I moved from west coast to east coast and the food out here is trash.

East coast food sucks. I live nearby Maryland and sure, the crab is fine. But I could put Old Bay on crab in any state… but try to get a burrito out here? With seasoning? Trash. These mf serve like mayo/onion dip with tortilla chips because, I guess, salsa has too much flavor.

East coast food is the whitest of white people food.

East coast food is absolutely abysmal outside of a handful of the largest cities.

When I lived in rural Massachusetts it was widely claimed that a local pizza spot had the “best pizza in the state”. It was literally the most mediocre pizza you can imagine. Most freezer pizzas are better. For a fresh made pie, it was trash. “Best pizza in the state”. People out there have no tastebuds, Im convinced
