I like noah hawley well enough, I think he’s up to the job. Hopefully we get a story that really expands on the anticapitalist themes.
The last Alien movies I saw were the Prometheus films, which made all the supposed scientists act irritatingly dim-witted and not like scientists at all. There was some conservative religious subtext about abortion and gender that just seemed backward and out of place, which soured my view of the whole series tbh.

couldnt you read prometheus as pro-abortion? Like they try to restrain her and force her to carry the “baby” but she fights back and extracts the thing out? Idk thats my reading of it thinking back on it.
Tbh I only ever really like Alien, Aliens and Predator. The rest were just so very meh. I want the games to make a comeback, especially the Alien RTS stuck on ps2 of all places
You should try Aliens 3 again. 4 is trash and so are all the ones after that.
have you watched prey? Thought it was pretty neat. But I love all the movies, good and not-so-good. I recognize the high level of Alien and Aliens, but I still appreciate the schlocky fun of AvP and the later-era Predator movies.
Huh I didn’t even know Prey was related. I do have that on my watchlist I may give it a go.
