    They’re probably more instinctual than animals that learned to avoid cars/trucks, so it would take very long for them to evolve instincts to run away from fast-vehicle noises.

    I think Anthropogenic climate change will make them or vehicle drivers extinct, before that happens tho.

      There is another problem, deer that avoid roads live longer, therefore produce offspring who will tend toward road aversion. However,humans will eventually bring roads to them. I’m not sure any mammal can evolve fast enough to develop protection instincts targeting humans. I think the answer is in us changing our behavior. But in America at least good luck finding a place to put green corridors. Even when people do allow green corridors to be built they fence them to keep undesirables out.
