Xbox has been on the right side of consumers (except for GamePass doubling in price… dropping the rise by 40% or whatever is still not enough) for a long time. (Mostly because they’ve been losing since Xbox One.)

Now do PlayStation. I like PlayStation more, but Sony really does not like gamers except as a revenue stream. At one point, I felt like Xbox was run by gamers. Not anymore. The big console makers are all shit now (IMO). There are a lot of indie games coming out these days, but they all require Windows, so they aren’t much better, if any. Gods forbid someone not want to use Windows.

I can’t disagree with Linux users. I needed a new computer a few years ago, and getting a Mac made more sense than building. If I built, I was gonna go Linux. But I always wanted a Mac. So I got one. But I won’t say it’s better than Linux, especially ethically.

I would be surprised if there were a lot of indie games that didn’t run via proton or wine on Linux.
