Thank you Paula for rescuing and reuniting this little Fledgling Screech Owl and South Shore Animal Control in Metairie for doing a quick exam on this fledgling Screech Owl. It is healthy and will be returned to the tree it was found near.

He’s like if someone startled X the Owl out of a deep sleep! 😁
I went and saw X and all of King Friday’s kingdom at the Heinz History Center in Pittsburgh back in 2024. They had so much from Rogers’ show and his personal life.
We sure had good neighbors this day.
He seemed like such a great guy. I think I appreciate him even more now than when I was a kid.
