I enjoy a lot of strange new worlds, but the amount of time and entire episodes that are devoted to “put Spock in an awkward situation” is insane and I find it all very cringey
Part of what I think is the problem lies with the streaming era short season format. Only 10 episodes an hour a piece, with an ensemble cast, and only so much time to put focus past the mains. Hell, it took 'til season 3 to get an Ortegas episode. But what about Lt. Mitchell or Chief Kyle? If not 26 episodes, meet somewhere in the middle at 18.
